The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School was honored as a Special Olympics National Banner School on Thursday, just before a Unified basketball game against Falmouth.

Over 600 runners and 17 teams participated in the annual Vineyard Invitational, with some schools traveling from as far away as Worcester and Barrington, R.I.
Sixteen high school teams from across Massachusetts and Rhode Island are set to take off this Saturday morning through the Manuel Correllus State Forest.
