Welcome, Lillian

Peter and Patricia Valenti of Edgartown are pleased to announce the birth of their first grandchild, Lillian Mae Laskowski, on Oct. 4, in Providence, R.I. Lillian, who weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces at birth, is the daughter of Brianna Valenti and Robert Laskowski of Providence. She is also welcomed by her uncles Michael, Andrew and Ethan Valenti.

Her Name Is Greta

Greta Ellison Milne was born Oct. 11 at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge to Reade Kontje Milne of Vineyard Haven and Gregory Milne. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20 inches long. The family plans to live in Belmont for another year and then return to Vineyard Haven.

Marco Antonio Arrives

Maria Almeida and Marco of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a son, Marco Antonio de Almeida de Filho, born on Oct. 14 at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. Marco weighed 8 pounds, 7.6 ounces at birth.

Laurel Maciel and Greg Bray announce the birth of a daughter, Makayla Lorraine Maciel, on Sept. 13 at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. Makayla weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces at birth. She is also welcomed by brother Trent, grandparents Steven and Laurie Maciel of West Tisbury, great-grandparents Robert and Barbara Maciel of West Tisbury, and great-grandparents Donald and Lorraine Bachand of Fairhaven.

Katie May Makes Six

Beth and John Johnson of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a daughter, Katie May Johnson, born on Sept. 24 at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces at birth.

Katie is also welcomed by her siblings: Cooper, Connor, Maggie, Hanni and Cully. Her maternal grandparents are Marion Mudge of Vineyard Haven and Dale and Jennifer McClure of Oak Bluffs.
