Raymond Griffitts Hyde of Delaplane, Va., and Vineyard Haven died in Boston on Oct. 30. He was 68.

Patricia (Pat) Clegg Hawkes of West Tisbury died peacefully on Oct. 22 at the Royal Nursing Home in Buzzard’s Bay.

Richard W. Hess, a retired Episcopal priest and former longtime summer resident of the Vineyard, died at the Falmouth Hospital on Oct. 8.

Ellen Bigler Harrison, a longtime seasonal resident of Aquinnah, died on August 29.

Dr. Leslie A. Hayling Sr., a retired dentist and longtime East Chop resident, died peacefully on July 24. He was 90.

Carol Ann Housman of Leominster died Monday, August 7 at her home after a battle with cancer. She was 70.

Suzanne Bunker Hopkins, known to family and friends as Bunkie, died July 27 at the Broadmead Retirement Community. She was 88.

Sandra K. (Platt) Hanaway, former three-term state senator from Cumberland, R.I., died on Saturday, July 29 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was 83.

Mari Brainerd Harman, a lifelong resident of Edgartown, died Thursday, July 20, in her home on the harbor. She was 95.
