Sandra Carmichael Bayne, a summer resident of Oak Bluffs, died on Oct. 22 at her home in Whiting, N.J. She was 84.

She was the wife of Richard Bayne and mother of Bijan Bayne of Washington, D.C. She was preceded in death by her son Javan Bayne.

Sandra was a great person and always fun to be around. She had a good sense of humor. She will be missed so much.

Richard and family, you have my condolences. I only spent a brief time with Sandra, mostly at Cheryl’s Christmas breakfasts. I found her to be a lovely and very interesting person. I wish I could have spent more time getting to know her. May her soul be at peace and may God comfort you during this time and grant you peace.

Richard, you and your family have my condolences. I had the pleasure of meeting Sandra at one of Cheryl’s Christmas brunches. We had great conversation. I really enjoyed talking and laughing with her. I thought she was a lovely person and I looked forward to seeing her again. May her soul be at peace. I’m praying for you comfort and strength.
