A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Jane Carpenter will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Federated Church in Edgartown. Masks will be required.

She died August 19, 2020. She had been a title researcher for the law firm Reynolds, Rappaport, Kaplan and Hackney, and was an active volunteer with the Federated Church, Friends of the Edgartown Public Library, and the Edgartown Council on Aging.

We still miss her so much! I think of her every day when I see a piece of her blue ware or other memento. Very sorry we will miss the memorial service but we will be back in Florida then. Will be with you in spirit, and perhaps catch it streaming or archived, but not the same as being there.
