Eileen T. Cryer, a longtime resident of Randolph and a native of Martha’s Vineyard, died on Jan. 25 at Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center ICU in Boston after a fall in her home. She was 83.

Eileen, born August 1, 1935, traveled the world, enjoyed visiting casinos and loved horse racing. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and the New England Patriots. She attended live games of all of them. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her large extended family and her friends.

She is survived by Cheryl Noyes, Sidney Counsell, Deborah Burton, Lynda Cryer, Steven Cryer, Nancy Collins, Tracy Sherman, their family members and her best friend Dorothy Fusco. She was predeceased by her parents, Annie and Henry Cryer, sister Barbara Counsell, and her husban, Sidney.

Visitation will be held in the Davis Funeral Home in Manomet on Friday, Feb. 1, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Bonaventure’s Church in Plymouth at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Manomet Cemetery next to her brother, Henry, and his wife, Priscilla.
