Elizabeth A. Marshall of Bridgewater, N.H., died Monday, Oct. 24, at her home on Hillcrest Road after a lengthy illness. She was 80 years old.

Mrs. Marshall was born on Martha's Vineyard, the daughter of Frank and Florence (Andrea) Demello. She lived most of her life on the Vineyard, moving to Warren, N.H., in 1986 and to Bridgewater, N.H., in 2000.

Mrs. Marshall had worked as a home health aide for the visiting nurses on Martha's Vineyard. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's, and during her free time enjoyed knitting and her knitting groups and the company of her two dachshunds, Ruby and Goodie.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Arthur Marshall of Bridgewater, N.H.; three daughters, Clara Marshall of Oak Bluffs, Alice Correira of Littleton, N.H., and Brenda Petelle of Northfield, N.H.; 10 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter, Sandra Maciel. Mrs. Marshall received loving care from her family, as well as from her lifelong friends, Ruthann and Norman Ponte, and children.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Marshall's memory to the Newfound Area Nursing Association, 214 Lake street, Bristol, NH 03222.
