Keith A. Stoeber, 57, Was Pilot, Air Force Veteran

Keith A. Stoeber, 57, of Louisville, Ky., a longtime summer resident of Chilmark, died Thursday, May 6, at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a pilot for United Parcel Service. He was a ruling elder of the Community Presbyterian Church and a member of the board of directors of Covenant Christian Academy.

Mr. Stoeber is survived by his wife, Elizabeth J. Stoeber; three daughters, Carolyn Stoeber of Boston, Leigh Tsipis and her husband, Jonathan, of South Bend, Ind., and Elizabeth Stoeber of Durham, N.C., and two sisters, Barbara Greene of Atlanta, Ga., and Susan Ballantine of Cape Cod.

His funeral was held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, at Community Presbyterian Church, with interment at Abel's Hill in Chilmark. Memorial gifts may be made to his church. Arrangements are by Pearson-Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home in Louisville.
