Scott F. Kennedy, 52, Was Native of Boston

Scott Fitzroy Kennedy, 52, died suddenly on Nov. 30 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. He was born literally with blue blood, due to a congenital heart defect, on August 14, 1951, in Boston to Joan (Miller) and Fitzroy Kennedy.

Scott was a poet, writer, finish carpenter, storyteller and humorist. He fought a lifelong battle with alcohol and drugs and chaperoned many others out of the darkness of addiction.

He is survived by his mother, Joan Kennedy; his sisters, Sara and her husband, Paul Connors, and Tina Kennedy; his nephew and niece, Alexander and Anna Kennedy of Framingham; his uncle, Edmond Kennedy of Framingham; his aunt, Nancy (Binky) Anderson of Yarmouthport; his cousins, Duncan (Mopsy) and Chas of Cambridge and David Kennedy of New Jersey; his co-conspirator and caregiver, Ray Freed of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and his beloved, Karin Stoll, of Lihue, Hawaii. Scott was predeceased by his father, Fitzroy Kennedy, and his uncles, Bobby Kennedy and Weldon Miller.
