Donaroma’s Nursery will be allowed to keep their lot at the airport business park, reversing an airport commission decision last month to evict the company after a history of noncompliance with their lease. Donaroma’s failure to provide property insurance despite repeated requests was corrected after the commission decided to move forward with the eviction.

“After they got the little nastier note...they all got their insurance certificates together and moved their equipment,” said airport commissioner Geoff Wheeler.

Donaroma’s currently leases a 36,409 square foot lot on North Line Road, used for the storage of trucks and landscaping materials. In addition to the insurance issue, Donaroma’s had also been storing materials and equipment outside of their lot.

The business park manager will continue to monitor the area to ensure no further infractions.
