Bunny lovers hurry to the shelter where we have a gem of a rabbit. Ninja is a male, neutered, dwarf belted Dutch rabbit. He’s black with white feet and a big white rough, and is only a year old. He also comes with a beautiful hutch! He’s been hand raised and very friendly. Come meet him and see if he would be a good fit for your family.

Holly, the six-year-old tabby, is really starting to come into her own. She’s enjoying being petted and is seeking out attention more and more often. This is a big deal for Holly. She’s been with us for over a year and was rather fearful, but she’s now starting to come out of her shell. We feel she would be happiest as an only cat with an owner that is mindful of her space issues but we are confident that once she feels comfortable in her forever home that her true, sweet, nature will bloom. Come meet her and see for yourself.

We have a special needs cat that would be a great addition to any home. The Earl of Cecil is only six, he’s solid black with luminous green eyes, and the sweetest disposition ever. We believe he suffered a stroke or a seizure and now has very limited vision. However, he has no trouble getting around and is a real snuggle puss. Come meet him and fall in love, most everyone does.

Where are all the Guinea Pig lovers? Onyx is still looking for his forever family. He’s an exceptionally friendly Abyssinian Guinea Pig with a long, shiny black coat. He’s been hand raised, loves to interact with people and comes to the side of the cage for attention and snacks. He’ll even eat from your hand. And Onyx adores singing too. Even if you’re not in a position to take him home you can still stop in and visit, piggies need affection as much as any creature.

With the cold weather upon us be mindful of the temperature if you plan on leaving your dog in a car for any length of time. And we are always taking jewelry donations for our Summer Garden Party.

We still need adult volunteers to answer the phone and meet and greet people on Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons. If interested give us a call or stop by for more information. And if anyone needs any crates or dog food, please stop in to pick some up. We have an abundance of both and are happy to share.
