If you’ve had the pleasure of enjoying their last two performances, you’ll be delighted to know the Berklee Silent Film Orchestra (BSFO) will be back at the MV Film Center again this year. They’ve composed a dramatic new score to the silent film Varieté, staring Emil Jannings.

For the night of the performance, Thursday, June 23, the Berklee student composers/conductors and musicians that make up the Berklee Silent Film Orchestra need on-Island housing. I’m looking for families living in Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven who would be happy to host one or more students at their home for that night.

You can be an insider — part of this exciting film and musical event — as a thank you,”host families will receive a pair of tickets to Varieté, and invitations to the reception with the artists. This year we need to house 20 people for one night only — June 23.

Time is getting short; please contact me directly by email (brian.skidmore@sothebysrealty.com) if you’re interested in hosting one or more students for a night. I’m hoping to hear from you soon.

It will add music to your life!
