The Island Wide Youth Collaborative is sponsoring Pathfinders, a new educational group for adolescents that want to explore their relationship with substances.

The group is designed to increase understanding of the impact of substance abuse in the participants’ lives, and to offer alternatives to using drugs and alcohol. Confidence building and local supports for those in recovery will be included in the curriculum.

The group meets twice a week for six weeks, on Mondays from 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be no group over the February school break.
