Evan P. McCarthy graduated from Central Connecticut State University on May 16 with degrees in physics and philosophy. During the week leading up to graduation, Evan had the esteemed honor of receiving departmental awards from both the physics and philosophy departments. Evan is the son of Mark McCarthy, stepson of Tina McCarthy, and grandson of Mabel McCarthy, all of Oak Bluffs.
