The High School View, the regional high school’s student newspaper, recently won the highest achievement award from the New England Scholastic Press Association (NESPA) at the organization’s 67th annual conference held at Boston University.

Four students also received individual awards for excellence in scholastic editing and publishing. Olivia Jacobs won an award for her article, Vineyard Grads Buck Odds; Giulia Leite won for her column, Through Hardship Grew Strength; Russell Shapiro won for his feature story, Peers Learn to Lend a Helping Hand; and Katherine Reid won for her illustration for Through Hardship Grew Strength.

The High School View is published weekly during the school year. Regional high school English department chairman Dan Sharkovitz has served as the newspaper’s faculty adviser since 1995.
