What it lacks in length it makes up in spirit — welcome to the fourth annual Martha’s Vineyard St. Patrick’s Day parade held on Saturday, March 14, and rolling along Edgartown all the way from the harbor front at the foot of Dock street to the The Newes pub. The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. and will also include children’s activities, Irish music, and a dance-o-rama, plus bangers and mash and plenty of beer.

For those feeling sprightly of pen, there will be a limerick contest, too — rhyme scheme AABBA of course.
