The Vineyarders held off Bishop Stang to come from behind and take an 18-14 win last Friday, moving them to a 3-6 record overall and a 2-2 record in the Eastern Athletic Conference.

Bishop Stang scored the only touchdown of the first quarter. Senior running back Tyler Araujo evened the game in the second, but Stang again notched a touchdown, adding a two-point conversion to make the score 14-6. They would, however, be held scoreless for the entire second half.

Sophomore Joe Turney ran in the second Vineyard touchdown to put the team within two points of their opponents. Junior receiver Brandon Watkins caught a 20-yard pass from senior quarterback Delmont Araujo in the final minutes of the game to secure the win for the team.
