The Permanent Endowment for Martha’s Vineyard is accepting applications for its fall grant cycle. “The Permanent Endowment is introducing a new application form this cycle,” said Anne Williamson, chairman of the Permanent Endowment. “It’s shorter, simpler and can be both completed and submitted online. We hope this will make the application process easier for Island nonprofits and we look forward to learning about the programs and projects being planned by organizations working throughout our community.”

The Endowment welcomes applications from Island nonprofit organizations with IRS 501 (c)(3) status seeking funding for new projects as well as continuing programs that benefit the Vineyard community. In the past, the Endowment has provided support for the arts and culture, civic affairs and community development, education, the elderly, the environment, housing, health and human services and youth.

Application materials are available on the Endowment’s web site at endowmv.org or by contacting Ralinda Lurie, executive director of the Permanent Endowment, at 508-338-4665.

Applications must be received by Sept. 15 if e-mailed or postmarked by Sept. 15 if mailed. All applicants will be notified of grant awards in October.
