Downdogging at Home
Want to do more yoga but schedule’s too full to get to a class? Or maybe the cost of weekly classes has been just too much to bear. But what’s the alternative? Shallow breathing and road rage? Wait, there is another way. How about creating a 21-minute home practice with the help of Sherry Sidoti at Fly Yoga.
On Sunday, May 22 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mrs. Sidoti will hold a workshop designed to help participants explore the components of a complete yoga practice including pranayama, asana (the varied types of postures) and meditation so they can establish their own individual at-home practice. Participants will walk away with a template for a short, balanced self-practice that they can then tweak according to their own intuitive feel and inner guidance.
The workshop is part of the upcoming FLY Yoga Teacher Training, but is open to all.
