Student Bankers

Five students from four different elementary schools received a citation from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that they earned by being a Supersaver or Steady Saver every year of their elementary school career. These eighth graders were recognized for their Exemplary Knowledge and Practice of Responsible Money Management: Anthony Breth and Joseph Turney of the West Tisbury School, Clifton Robinson from the Oak Bluffs School, Teo Azzolini from the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School, and Sophie Ulyatt from the Edgartown School.

Chris Wells, bank president, and Richard Leonard, executive vice president, were on hand to congratulate students on learning a good savings habit and to present the citations from the state treasurer’s office.
