The Louisa Gould Gallery welcomes a dynamic jeweler, Gail Nathanson, with a special trunk show this Saturday, July 10 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Artist Gail Nathanson creates wearable art that reflects her two decades’ work as both a jewelry artist and a landscape designer. The influence of her landscape design experience is clear; many of her pieces resemble small bouquets. Using stones of the finest clarity, color and cut, and working with natural keshi pearls from Japan and the South Pacific, knotted and finished with a French coil, the final piece is joined with a 14k yellow, white or rose gold clasp, some embedded with diamonds or pearls. Her work also shows at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

All are welcome to meet the artist at the gallery at 54 Main street in Vineyard Haven. Please call 508-693-7373 or visit online louisagould.com for more information and directions. The gallery is open daily.
