Bonnie Stacy has been named chief curator at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum.

A graduate of Smith College and the Bard Graduate Center in New York, Ms. Stacy was most recently curator of collections and exhibits for Historic Bethlehem Partnership in Bethlehem, Pa. There she was responsible for mounting 12 exhibits in three locations. She also oversaw the intellectual development, physical management and care of all the collections of Historic Bethlehem’s four affiliates: Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts, the Burnside Plantation, Historic Bethlehem Inc., and the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem.

She was previously a collection management and curatorial consultant with client museums in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Executive director David Nathans created the new position to oversee the museum’s increasing demands in collections management and exhibition programming.

Dana Costanza Street is taking over as library assistant, allowing the museum to reopen the library to researchers on a regular basis.
