In a decade or two, they may all be headlining the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival. But for now, a group of 14 aspiring young Island filmmakers will at least enjoy the opportunity to share their work with the Vineyard community and possibly a few of the seasoned filmmakers who will attend the festival to promote their own work.

Tuesday Conversations Group meets at the Howes House in West Tisbury, across from Alley's store, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. This week: Community Access Television on Martha's Vineyard with Jonathan Revere.

Bereavement Group for partners and spouses with Colleen Seadale, bereavement counselor for Hospice, is at 10 a.m. at the West Tisbury Congregational Church. Space is limited. For details on the program or to register, call 508-693-0189.

Tom Maley Life Drawing Group meets from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Featherstone. Cost is $10; no instruction. For details, call 508-696-8076.

The Bunch of Grapes Writers’ Group with Cynthia Riggs meets every Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. to noon, upstairs in the Bunch of Grapes Bookstore. New and seasoned writers are welcome, laughter required. For details, e-mail criggs@vineyard.net.

Digital Photography: Individual Camera Tutorial with Kathy Rose from 10 a.m. to noon or 1 to 3 p.m. at Featherstone in Oak Bluffs. Cost is $50 for a two-hour tutorial. For details, call 508-693-1850.

Mother Goose on the Loose Storytime with Colleen is at 10 a.m. for newborns to age two and at 11 a.m. for ages three to five at the Vineyard Haven library.

Martha's Vineyard Garden Club meets at 1 p.m. at the Wakeman Center off Lambert's Cove Road. Speaker Matt Pelikan will give a talk,The Importance of Burns. Hospitality hour follows the meeting. Everyone interested in gardening, flower arranging, native flora and preserving the best qualities of the Island environment are welcome. Free for members; nonmembers, $5.
