Mindfulness Meditation Community of Martha's Vineyard meets at the Howes House in West Tisbury from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Silent meditation followed by led discussion. All welcome, donations accepted. For details, call 508-693-6774.

Yardsale and Bakesale to benefit the West Tisbury School second grade class is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school auditorium. Rain or shine.

Dolls for Haiti Workshop is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chilmark Tavern, off State Road. Sally Snipes will lead the group in creating a Waldorf-style cloth doll which will ultimately make its way into the arms of a Haitian child. Minimal sewing skills required. Children welcome if accompanied by an adult. Free, bring a snack to share.

Saturday Crafts at the West Tisbury library is from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free. This week: Clothespin Creatures.

Coffee Hour is at the Aquinnah Public Library from 10 to 11 a.m. Enjoy a hot beverage, weekend newspapers and discussion with neighbors, family and friends.

Ceramic Arts for children ages 7 to 12 is from 10 a.m. to noon at Featherstone. Cost is $20. For details or to preregister, call 508-693-1850.
